The Minerals Education Trust Fund is a registered public benefit organisation. All contributions qualify for tax exemption under Section 18A of the Income Tax Act and certificates are issued to all contributors.
The Fund has been evaluated in terms of the B-BBEE scorecard and all contributions can be claimed under socio-economic development
